All the ewes have lambed now, except for Katie. Katie always seems to be the last, that little lady has her own agenda and respect for Rodney the Ram isn't on her agenda. Rodney is quite the gentleman with his ladies, he checks out the situation (nose curled up in the air) surreptitiously saunters through the unsuspecting hareem, scrutinizing each ewe to evaluate her level of amerous interest. An uninterested ewe will ignore his attention ( sorry, got a headache) but an interested ewe seems to waft a cloud of "Hello handsome, I'm here" scent that appears irresistable to randy Rodney. Unfortunately Katie always seemed to either have a headache or a "you have to catch me first " attitude and that little lady is fast. So, Katie is holding out and we wait..and wait.
Chance the little white lamb that nearly died has become quite the favoured child, much to Bran the Border Collies disgust. Chance, wearing his size 4 Baby Dry diaper has two mommys and she is quite determined to be wherever either Mommy is.. which means she trys to be in two places at once. Little Chance skips across the linoleum, skidding and sliding, legs askew. When Mommy sits down, Chance is there, wrapped around our feet fast asleep, when we move, the little lamb is underfoot. She follows us into the bathroom, if we are in the bedroom Chance isn't far away. Yesterday, with her on my lap, contentedly full and fast asleep, I had a mental picture of me with a 140 lb adult Chance needing some loving..I'm pretty certain that size 4 diapers aren't going to fit ..could be a problem !!
Well, i'm sitting in the kitchen, sun shining through the window, sky blue and very few fluffy white clouds. I've had my fill of Dr. Phil and I've become a world expert on nuclear disasters, the American Government and I think I know every script to every advertisement......I need to be out of here !!!! I'm going for a cup of tea and some fat food !!!! Take care, M
