It's getting close to hay season! Time to re-position the old stack to make room for the new hay that will be coming in a few weeks. The boy's wanted to be part of the festivities before they left and get a "little" workout. !00 lb. bales ought to do the job!!

Sometimes life just seems to pass so quickly. Today I realized that, over the past few months we have hosted some amazing young people at the ranch and barely a mention of their achievements...(or otherwise). Song, Mallory, Michael and Ben have all shared the highs and lows of Spring time on a livestock farm. They have experienced the joy of new life and the sadness of loss of life. They have dug holes and filled them in in time honored Gentle Giant Meadows tradition. Fences have been torn down and fences built, trees planted and trees felled. Sometimes it is hard to let these young people know just how much we enjoy their participation, their enthusiasm and their willingness to share our lives but, as we review the past few months we know that many of our achievements have been in part, thanks to them. Thank you....we really do appreciate you. Life on the ranch is wonderful. Take care, keep safe, M
