Yesterday was flooding... Last night was awakening at about 2am to the sound of a tree cracking and coming to the ground with a THUD outside the bedroom window. Well it wasn't quite outside the window (about 100 feet away) but I knew it was close . Didn't sleep well after that and then power disappeared at 230 am for about 6 hrs. Good thing out of it all was 4 good cedar saw-logs. Should make some nice siding for the on-going work on the barn siding. Our neighbors weren't so lucky though. A tree fell into their trailer they are living in. Good thing no one was hurt. On goes the fall. Hopefully that's it for disasters this year.
