No Light-hearted Entry Today!

This morning is going to be a brief entry. Its difficult to be light-hearted knowing there are two of our peninsula residents in the hospital from the wounds they suffered at the Lake Kathryn Food Market shooting on Saturday. We just ask that you keep the them and the others that were in the store at the time of the shooting in your thoughts and prayers. We are glad we were able to be there at the right time to help out. Who knew what started out as a trip to the pharmacy to pick up our prescriptions would turn into a life saving effort for someone else. We are just glad we were able to help.

Maureen and Greg, I truly believe I will meet you two one day. I saw you briefly on the news last night...wasn't really paying attention to what was on, and then I saw your face, Maureen. Knew you had been involved in something serious, though. Then, as I am coming home just now, I have the radio on "talk" radio, and I hear them talking to Greg. Have to sit in my car and listen after I get home. True heroes you two are...doing what just came naturally. You didn't even think about it. I'm not really a voyeur. LOL I just seem to cross paths with you.
I also got the message that you had called mt work to say "hello", Maureen. So hello to you too, and I am glad that all turned out okay, and that you kept your back and hands intact during that incident!
