Life goes on...

Yesterday was a BUSY day...then again, thinking back, so was the day before ..and the day before that, smile. Still a bit shell shocked about the ramifications of Gregs news  but it just means a new direction and a new plan, life is good. One of the great things about the ranch is that we have met some amazing people/ families who just "pop in" for eggs, fruit  ..custom meat orders ...or just for a chat. Yesterday a great family arrived just as we were getting into a project and they all pitched in, by the end of the afternoon we were all in the round pen, hauling on different ends of a fish net that seemed to have no end..no beginning and holes in the middle. Michelle, family mom (mum) found that she was height challenged but ingenuity jumped in and she was walking around the bars, taller than the rest of us, thanks you guys, we appreciated the help. Brian my honourary Brit and Stephanie, enthusiastic and fun, thanks for brightening our day ! Why were we putting a fish net on the round pen ? our turkeys need rehoming and we don't want a new fast food outlet for racoons eagles etc Time to go, cuckoo says 7.30 am, Bran is waiting at the door and Destiny has taken up her position at the gate . Take care, M

Good Morning,
So sad to read of Greg's health difficulties. I am sure that because of your innovative ability, that you will find a workable solution. I know one thing. Farming is rarely so profitable that you can afford a hired hand to do the tasks that you are physically unable to perform. You may have to limit the diversity of your offerings.
I may be in Vaughn for the Historical Society meeting on Saturday, and if so,
I would like to come by and pick up some eggs and say hello. Should I come to the house or down to the farm to pick them up?

Best,
Curt
