I've O'd on The Royal Wedding !!

HAPPY EASTER.
Ok,..I admit it, I've been and gone and od'd on the royal wedding, I know enough about William and Kate now to get a batchelors degree, I'd win a million ( pounds ) on Who Wants to be a Millionaire on the subject and if Greg has to watch much more before Friday.... we may be seeing a councillor. ( smile ) !!!

Well, I think we possibly need a Texican sharpshooter round here ( hi Mum J)....there I was this morning, busy trying to work out how many new wrinkles had magically appeared overnight and reflected in the mirror I saw, large as life and even more startling than the wrinkles, if I had any......!!!( we are going to call them character lines from now on !!) was Mr. Wiley Cayote taking a leasurely stroll through the pasture under the house. By the time I had got Gregs attention...and Greg had managed to appropriately react, Wiley had made a very fast and very smart disappearing act. Fortunately, to date Wiley Cayote and his band of brothers have not turned the Ranch into a Fast Food source..if they had, I may have to take up shooting and I would be REALLY dangerous...but I'm not sure who really would have to worry !!! ( probably not the cayotes !!!).

Today I risked going really frizzy and set to work dismantling the turkey pen. Last year we put the Heritage Turkey poults into the round pen. Clearly any eagles and hawks within a 100 mile radius recognized that young turkeys were quite the treat, who needs KFC when turkey tenders come free and for the taking ? Very quickly we closed down the free for all fast food source and hundreds of zip ties and nylon fish nets later our turkey poults were safe..at least till the Grim Reaper arrived at Thanksgiving !!! So, what goes up must come down and today in the rain, equipped with state of the art zip tie remover, I set to work dismantling the eagle / hawk proof pen. It may take me three weeks, we did a REALLY good job !!!

Time to go, Gregs going to be lighting a fire...I'm required to keep it fed. Take care, keep safe and when you get too fed up with the royal Wedding, spare a thought for poor Greg.M
