Well...it is the eve of our 61st birthday. Happy birthday to Annie my twin and co conspirator! As I reflect back over my life, I feel blessed. I am blessed that I have the love and loyalty of my wonderful husband Greg..I am blessed that I live and work in our little piece of Heaven with my husband, my closest friend. I have wonderful children, beautiful grandchildren and an amazing family who have loved and supported me through life's adventures, thank you for always being there for me. I am fortunate to have great, faithful friends and neighbors (neighbours in Brit speak) who made this displaced Brit feel at home in this amazing community so far from everything that was familiar to me. I inherited an adopted Mum, a feisty Texan who loves me as only a mum can and we won the friendship and support of Erin and Jim who have joined and enriched our extended ranch family . Life hasn't always been uncomplicated...but I have come to believe that what challenges you over the years makes you the person you have become. Turning 61 is another milestone with so much to achieve in the future and so much achieved, so much won and so much lost in the past. Thank you Greg for making all my dreams come true and for believing in me. My 61st birthday is just the beginning of a new adventure and I look forward to sharing many more years with such special people in such a special place.
