The Pacific North West is renowned for unfavorably downcast skies, heavy grey clouds and consistent rain. For the past week, Mother Nature has been particularly unkind to those of us who have chosen to live in the shadow of the Olympic Mountain Range and are susceptible to the weather systems originating in the Pacific Ocean. Apparently the recent deluges whilst not quite requiring us to build an Ark have been described as "historic quantities". This "historical" soggy event has sadly coincided with the visit of young Evie, a family member from England who has spent the past six days dodging raindrops and trudging through puddles. Thankfully, our English fortitude has kept a smile on her face and as the days pass, despite the inclement weather, Evie has been busy creating memories that we hope will, in the years to come bring a smile to her face....as these photos will to ours...enjoy. Take care, keep safe and dry, M xx
