It's soooo nice to have the boss home again! Maureen arrived late Tuesday evening after a very miserable flight home. It seems England decided to bestow a full blown head/chest cold on her to endure (and infect everyone on the plane!) on the way home and bring to me... Welcome home sweetie!
On the flip side, harvest is in full swing. Apples galore, grapes, pears and more. bright side of it all, with the rains we have had we no longer have to irrigate. Switch from one chore to the next. Now it's get all the fields ready for the winter rains. Make sure fences are in order and firewood in the barn to keep dry.
Thanks Quatra, Grace and Justin for all the help while Maureen was away. You all were a big help and most everything kept running smoothly. Of course, not to Boss's standards, but Boss was well pleased with the state of the ranch in general. Always nice to visit with you.
