We here is in the good ole USA are enjoying ourselves too. It is so nice to see Quest with the sparkle in his eyes and moving around the field following Lady. His appetite appears to be excellent and is munching almost all the time. We are taking great care to make sure he does not over do it though. We know this will take a long time to get him back to his former self. Hopefully there were no complications internally associated with his neglect.
We welcome Cameron today. She arrived last night from Seattle and will be with us for the month. Its a good time of the year to be here since there are a lot of different activities going on preparing for the fall and winter. Hard to think that we have to be thinking about that already with how warm it is. Preparation never takes a rest here. Life on the ranch. Always got to be thinking of what needs to happen to be ready for the next season. Sometimes even 6 months in advance when it some to eggs. We just got in a new batch of egg layer chickens so that in 6 months when the start to lay, we will have fresh eggs. 6 months for the hens to mature to laying stage. Then you have to get past those small "practice" eggs. They are all good though. Lower in cholesterol!! Well maybe not.
Hope you all have a great day. Lots of smiles here with Quest back and him looking so happy. Sorry if we dwell on this but he is so important to us.
Take care and stay safe.
Greg
