Ok, I'm back, it's been a tough week but I'm almost back to normal...whatever "normal" around here might be ! My nightstand looks like a drug store and I think I've possibly road tested every cold / cough/ flu remedy on the market. I have slept ( or not slept !!) sitting up in bed wrapped in my snuggie ( very glamerous,...not !!!). Yes, I did fall for the TV advertisement and yes, it is an oversize blanket with shapeless sleeves sewn in...but it is warm. I fell for another TV advertisement and I can confirm that there was no mad party going on in my head, and when I swallowed a pill, the party goers were not evicted from my sinus passages, I still coughed and snuffled, croaked and groaned..but I'm better now so its all good. Thank you to our good friend Heidi who ordered me to leave the barn and go to bed. Heidi took over my chores and I was SO grateful, bed looked so good that day. You are wonderful Heidi. Thanks also to Dave and Michelle for all your help and concern, it's nice to know you are out there ! So, whats happening down at the barn ? Two of our babies ( kid goats )have gone to a lovely new home, Heart and Frosty weren't too enthusiastic about leaving but I know that they are going to be really spoilt and will grow up with a cute little playmate, Ena . Danielle Alicia and Mary had to leave the goat pen because it is currently Machos love nest and he is sharing it with Jolene and Freckles. The doelings are too young for the "goings on" going on in the goat pen and judging by the vocals there is a lot of "goings on" going on !!! Macho grew up very quickly and his romantic interlude with Molly Moo and Dolly ( cows) are apparently distant memories. Lambchop had to be evicted from his pen for the doelings and from the pathetic bleating was none too pleased about his new accomodation. He now lives in a stall next to Daisy May, the calf, and has reluctantly settled in to his new home. He and Daisy May spend their days together and both have an identity crisis. All in all, its been a week of musical stalls, lots of bleating, bawling mooing and neighing but things are settling down and everyone is getting used to their new locations. Time to go to bed, its been a very long ,very wet day, the road is a river, the pond is flooding and the farm yard awash...tomorrow is another day, it will all be better tomorrow, it had better be or the animals will be swimming! Good night, God bless, take care, M
