Daisy Mae, Dexter Calf Extrodinaire

Picture
Daisy Mae was born August 1, 2010  out of Molly, our Dexter milk cow.  Since then, life has been absolutely busy.  We weren't ready for milking a cow!  The squeeze chute has found a new use.  Luckly, Molly is docile enough to follow me in and patiently stand as I attempt to learn to milk a cow.  Goats are easy.  Dexter teets are small!!!  Hopefully as her milk drops that situation will change.  Our milking machine is on the way!!  I am sure Maureen will add more as time permits and the daily diary will have timely updates.
