Another wonderful sunny day, quite crisp in the morning.
Annie joined me for stall cleaning, thank you!!! It went by so fast. Greg
whisked Maureen off to the doc for a check up. Mal and John picked apples and
worked tirelessly on the front room floor. Another apple squishing party to
come!
Lunchtime was graced by more Spongebob watching. Lunchtime favorite viewing.
In the afternoon the backhoe was brought back to life.
And immediately put to work! Greg and I made our way out to the irrigation pond to dig out one of the overflow storm channels. I was set to digging the start of the channel where the backhoe couldn’t reach. It was a bit daunting to see my dig job compared to
the backhoe’s… Haha, soon enough we were done and watching the water
flow in the proper path!
Mal and John were hard at work dismantling the top of
Lambchop’s stall. This part was originally in place to keep the goats from
climbing out, because goats climb. Sheep, or at least Lambchop, are more
corporative, so the top fence could be removed and save many a head from
cracking into it. Thanks guys!
A new WOOFer arrived Monday evening. Welcome Ginger to the
team!
That’s
all for now. In the words of the Boss,“Take care, keep
safe.”
